Welcome!
Are you a homeowner, business, organization, or municipality who has lost a tree? Do you have a special piece of wood and would like to remember its life in a piece of art to cherish, display, give as a gift or market? I can help. This site contains instructions on how to harvest a section of your tree to be used in this process. Future plans will include video clips of the entire process. The items in the For Sale page of this site give a variety of designs and price ranges. The entire process can take up to 12 months to shape, dry and finish a piece. There is no cost or obligation to you until you see the final product.

On January 9th, 2015, I was honored to have two of my pieces juried into the Visual Arts Minnesota 15th Annual Essential Arts Exhibit. My piece "1962" is a segmented vessel 36" high and 18" wide. It's made from discarded cherry, maple, black walnut, sumac, hackberry and Padauk. It won 3rd place in the 3D category. The show is open to the public in the lobby of the Paramount theater in Down Town St. Cloud, MN through February 15th, 2015
"The 3D winners each display a deep concern with handicraft and materials. Gary Mrozek’s 1962, whose title details the number of pieces of wood used, reveals a sense of wonder at how parts—with technique, ingenuity, and care—can add up to a whole greater than their sum."
